As a designer, I had the opportunity to curate and design an accordion-style booklet showcasing the artistic history of two contemporary artists, Tadanori Yokoo and April Greiman. The booklet was a visually engaging and informative journey through the lives and works of these trailblazing artists, highlighting their techniques, inspirations, and impact on the art world. Simultaneously, I delved into the historical events and cultural movements that shaped the context of their work, such as the rise of postmodernism, the fusion of traditional and modern artistic expressions, and the increasing globalization of art. With meticulous attention to detail, I aimed to capture the essence of these artists and the historical backdrop against which their creativity blossomed, culminating in a compelling and insightful design piece.
