MAscot: CRUISER
For the ski school mascot design, I focused on embodying the core value of safety first. The mascot combines approachable, friendly visuals with clear cues of protection—such as a helmet, goggles, and a confident stance—making it instantly relatable and trustworthy for both children and parents. This design not only enhances brand identity but also reinforces the essential message of cautious, responsible skiing. Choosing this mascot helps the school communicate its commitment to safety in an engaging, memorable way that resonates on and off the slopes.
Designing Cruiser the Fox was crafted in Adobe Illustrator to capture a polished and vibrant look. The process involved creating clean vector lines and carefully selecting color palettes to reflect Cruiser’s distinct personality. After the initial design was completed, several revisions were made to ensure he was equipped with the right gear . These adjustments ensured the final illustration accurately embodied the desired character traits and visual appeal, aligning perfectly with the creative vision for Cruiser the Fox.
Cruiser was based on the two images to the left. The color palette centers around deep navy blue, vibrant red, warm gray, and crisp white, creating a balanced yet dynamic aesthetic.
The first iteration of Cruiser was featured on the right. This initial design laid the groundwork for Cruiser's identity as a versatile and visually engaging concept.
